1. Installation and adjustment of low noise bearings can also imitate the grouping method of long-life bearings, so that the fit interference is more consistent, and the clearance of NTN bearings is more consistent.
It is also hoped that the smaller value of interference can be obtained in the possible range to ensure that the deformation of NTN bearing raceway is small and the noise caused by rolling body passing is reduced.
2. Clearance has a great influence on noise. Ideal condition is that the clearance value is just zero when the bearing is in the highest operating temperature.
The methods of judging excessive clearance are: static state makes the bearing displace axially, its reciprocating range is large, and it emits large and heavy noise in operation.
3. If a nasty scream is made during operation, it indicates that the pre-tightening of the bearing is too large, and the pre-interference of the bearing is too large, so the pre-tightening degree should be relaxed slightly.
If the clearance is too large, the two bearing rings can be slightly offset along the axis: it reduces the clearance, increases the axial rigidity, and reduces the bearing noise.
4. The rolling element will slip or move left and right when it enters the no-load area, which will increase the noise and cause wear and tear. Small clearance and large axial stiffness can eliminate this phenomenon.
But the clearance should not be too small, so as not to cause excessive temperature and shorten life.
5. Sometimes, due to the wide operating temperature range of the main engine or the large size dispersion between the shaft and the bearing seat hole, it is impossible to get a more appropriate clearance by one adjustment.
In this case, the outer ring of the bearing can be pre-tightened by elastic constant pressure method.
